I am a wife, a mother of four and most recently a grandmother…with 30 years of experience in the aerospace industry, a BS, MBA and several certificates in leadership, management and quality engineering.  From my first week at orientation until my last week on campus I have been exposed to a top ranked, world-class academic curriculum in Supply Chain Management that is 100% stem certified and incorporates real-world applications.  USC’s faculty and staff are top notch…engaging industry experts, focused on conveying complex subjects and tools in a clarifying way.

“My experience with the USC Global Supply Chain Management program is unlike anything I expected while enrolling. I initially thought I would only come out learning new skills and tools to apply in my career, with real life scenarios explained through case studies. However, I learned more about supply chain core concepts and it has changed the way I thought about global supply chain, my career, and how I work with others. I have been exposed to how extensive supply chain is and how there is so much more that relates to the tiny bubble I work in at my company. The program has taught me to think more broadly, which has been applicable to my current job and allowed me to think more strategically. This was further made valuable with a hands-on approach of experiencing international supply chain and solving real life problems for companies. What I appreciate the most from the program are the people. Working and learning from each other with a breadth of experience across different areas has been invaluable. It has given me opportunities to not only learn from others with unique backgrounds, but teach fellow cohorts as well. These are relationships that start because of the program but will become friendships that will last well beyond graduation. I’m grateful to have an opportunity to be part of the USC, Global Supply Chain Master’s program and will always remember this valuable experience.”

FAQs

Is a bachelor’s degree required for this program?
Yes, we require students to have at least a bachelor’s degree, however there are no specific requirements as to which major it’s in.

How long is the program?
This program is 16 months long and includes 4 terms (Fall, Spring, Summer, 2nd Fall).

Is it okay to be below the average GPA?
Yes! We review applications holistically and GPA is simply one factor. We really value candidates’ work or internship experience and interest in supply chain when considering who is a good fit for the program.

Am I still able to work full-time while pursuing the online program?
Yes! The online program is actually designed for working professionals and our students in the past have been able to successfully complete the program while maintaining a full-time job. For our on-campus program, students should not work full-time during the first year as classes are during the day multiple days a week. Beginning during Summer and continuing for the 2nd Fall, on-campus students will be able to work full-time in permanent positions or internships (including international students needing CPT).

Do I need prior working experience for this program?
For the on-campus program, it is not required as it is geared more toward recent graduates and those with less work experience. For the online program, we ask that applicants have more than 2 years of work experience, however it doesn’t have to be specifically in supply chain!
